We are proud to specialize in all 5 standard AKC coat colors, with a dedicated focus on the master-level curation of prestigious, standard-dilute Blues and Creams.

Furthermore, Hoku Kennels stands as the proud, exclusive home to the only smooth-coat Chow Chows in the state of Hawaii, introducing an unmatched level of correct, traditional spitz infrastructure to the Pacific.

Our foundational stock consists of hand-selected, high-volume direct Russian and Filipino imports, carrying full FCI and PCCI export pedigrees officially foreign-registered with the AKC, as well as champion American lines. By importing champion bloodlines directly to the Big Island, we preserve the purity, massive bone substance, and correct blocky type demanded by the true global breed standard.
